Industrial salt usage:
1. In the chemical industry, industrial salt is the "mother of the chemical industry", and the chemical industry is the fundamental industry of the national economy;
2. In the production of soap in light industry, salt is often added to maintain the appropriate viscosity of the solution;
3. Salt is used as a chloride roasting agent and quenching agent in the metallurgical industry;
4. Soda ash made from salt in the building materials industry is the main raw material for producing glass;
5. In the mechanical industry, salt can be used as an excellent binder for medium sand in non-ferrous metal and alloy casting;
6. During the oil well drilling process, in order to protect the integrity of the rock salt layer core, salt needs to be added to the mud as a stabilizer;
7. The commonly used raw materials in the dye industry, such as soda ash, are directly produced from salt, and almost every step in the dye production process consumes a certain amount of salt;
8. In the leather industry, a large amount of leather is required.
