Sodium acetate has deliquescence, so attention should be paid to moisture prevention during storage and transportation. It is strictly prohibited to come into contact with corrosive gases to prevent exposure to sunlight and rain. Rainproof coverings should be added during transportation

Sodium acetate (sodium acetate) uses:
Food applications:
1. Preservatives: Sodium acetate is often used as a preservative in the food industry, which can effectively inhibit the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and mold, and extend the shelf life of food. In some acidic foods, such as yogurt, jam, etc., sodium acetate can react with acid to produce acetic acid, further enhancing the preservative effect.
2. Preservatives: Sodium acetate can also be used as a food preservative to maintain the freshness and taste of food. Sodium acetate can effectively maintain the nutritional content and flavor of food by inhibiting microbial growth and slowing down oxidation reactions.

Industrial applications:
1. Used to adjust the pH value of wastewater, sodium acetate is an alkaline compound that can undergo chemical changes with acidic wastewater, treat acidic wastewater, and adjust the pH value.
2. Improve the sewage treatment indicators, use sodium acetate as a supplementary carbon source, domesticate the denitrifying sludge, and then use a buffer solution to control the increase in pH value during denitrification within the range of 0.5. Denitrifying bacteria can excessively adsorb sodium acetate, so when using sodium acetate as an external carbon source for denitrification, the effluent COD value can also be maintained at a low level. To meet the first level discharge standards for sewage treatment in all cities, sodium acetate (sodium acetate) needs to be added as a carbon source.
3. Determination of lead, zinc, aluminum, iron, cobalt, antimony, nickel, and tin. Complex stabilizer. Adjuvants, buffering agents, desiccants, and mordants for acetylation.
4. Used as esterification agent for organic synthesis, as well as dyeing and printing mordants, buffering agents, chemical reagents, pigments, tanning agents, etc.
5. Used as a buffering agent and pH regulator.
6. Used as an anti coking agent for sulfur regulating chloroprene rubber coking, the dosage is generally 0.5 parts by mass. It can also be used as a crosslinking agent for animal glue.
7. This product can be used as an additive for alkaline electroplating tin, but it has no significant effect on the coating and electroplating process, and is not a necessary component. Sodium acetate is commonly used as a buffering agent, such as for acidic zinc plating, alkaline tin plating, and electroless nickel plating.
